Fireside bench seat
These fireside benches were traditionally made to sit in the big fireplaces in France to keep warm. Sometimes they were used to also store salt, this one was.
Note there is one side that has been burnt at some stage for being so close to the fire. It's full of character and history.
Condition
Restored to retain the character. Old repairs making it very solid for todays use.
