A carved oak coffer from Spain, 18th century. Front panel with three raised fields, paired bullseye roundels carved in concentric rings flanking a central arched panel. Iron escutcheon and working lock. Plank lid with pegged construction along the top edge. Block feet.
Solid oak, pegged joinery throughout. Deep patina with age cracking and surface wear consistent with the period.
